Privacy Policy - Nikky Green Remedial & Sports Massage

What?

When you make a booking we collect your full name and title, email address, and telephone number.
When you visit our website you can choose to subscribe to our mailing list. If you do this, we collect your full name and title, and email address.
When you have your Initial Consultation and Treatment, we will collect data regarding your lifestyle, medical history, and where you heard about us.
After every treatment we will write notes including treatment methods, observations, and plans for future treatments.

Why?

We use your basic personal details to identify you and to contact you regarding appointments. Occasionally we may send marketing emails including offers and updates. However these are usually kept in the News section of this site.
We keep your medical history to ensure that treatment is safe and appropriate to you.
We keep treatment notes to monitor your progression and to help us optimise your treatment.

Who?

We promise to never sell your data.
Patients may have the option of receiving a personalised remedial exercise plan. We create this using external web-based software. We willl use your name and email address to create a login on your behalf, but only after you have given consent to this!
All therapists, administrative support professionals, associates, and subcontractors agree to comply to our privacy policy.

Where?

We use web-based practice management software to store your data and manage your appointments. This is password protected and requires an authentication code from the practitioner’s phone to access.
Written notes are stored securely.

How long?

To comply to our professional standards, your data must be kept for 7 years.
In the case of clients under the age of 18, your data must be kept for 7 years from the day you turn 18.

Nikky showed a great understanding of my needs - a full understanding of how cycling, running and swimming can impact your body through her personal experience. I have seen many physios and chiropractors over the years trying to sort out various problems. Nikky is the first one to see that the cause of these issues is not solvable therefore developing methods to alleviate the effects has meant I can keep on training as I want. Worth every penny!

I went to see Nikky about my plantar fasciatis in my right foot with the hope of being able to avoid a steroid injection which I have had poor experiences with previously. Nikky was incredibly patient, taking the time to explain to me possible reasons as to why it was occurring. The various massage appointments that I have attended have really made a huge difference in reducing the pain and making walking more manageable. Nikky also provided me with a programme of exercises for me to do in between appointments which was really helpful. Would highly recommend!

I came to Nikky with an ongoing injury that has been troubling me for four years now; a trapped nerve in my shoulder that we believe was caused by the carrying around and holding of children. I’ve sought help from a number of professionals, including NHS physios, but have never managed any kind of tangible relief from the pain I have. Nikky spent a long time with me, asking questions about my pain, treatment already received and any kind of help that this treatment offered me. She did initial assessments to ensure she knew the exact extent of my injury, and to rule out anything neurological (as this had been suggested previously). Her massage was very thorough, and throughout she explained to me why she was working on particular muscles (I also ask lots of questions because I like to know the nitty gritty details), and put me at ease that I was in good hands and that she knew exactly how to treat my issue. She provided me with relief from a pain that bothers me daily and used to stop me using my left arm comfortably. I play lots of netball, and her massage has meant that I'm not struggling the day after a match as I used to. I’ve now been to Nikky three times and will continue to seek her treatment for my trapped nerve as I manage to aggravate it repeatedly with a clingy two year old and competitive netball as a hobby! Nikky is a very friendly and relaxed person, who made me feel welcome at her clinic. I wholly recommend Nikky to anyone seeking help through massage.
